Poster for Precarious, graphic design by Maryam Fanni

In the exhibition, Precarious – On the Ahestics and Ethics of New Labour, twelve artists discussed, thematized and problematized current issues of postindustrial labour. The pieces were addressing conditions of work, symbols, aesthetics and attributes connected to labour from current and historical perspectives. Other depicted the boundaries and control mechanisms, but also risks, increasingly emerging in the wake of a flexible labour market. Changing class boundaries, between the haves and have-nots; those who work with their bodies and those who work with their thoughts, was another issue dealt with in the exhibition.

Precarious included work by: Daria Bogdanska, Kalle Brolin, Ioana Cojocariu, Celie Eklund, Annika Eriksson, Angelica Falkeling, Anna Ihle, Anders Rundberg & Homa Badpa & Amanda Peterson, Marika Troili and Emma Tryti.
